A thought occurred to me whilst cutting my toenails today, nowadays I have to contemplate getting a Crain in to lift my leg up high enough to cut the buggers, when I can actually achieve this I have to use garden shears to cut them and ask my other arf to take cover and put a crash helmet on for safety. What’s the point in toenails anyway? I also seem to have to a jab every week for something or the other,flu jab last week,coved boost next week,pneumonia jab the week after, next it will be a jab to watch strictly come dancing. I still play golf and run three times a week but I’m finding it very difficult with an oxygen tank and a defibrillator strapped to my back. This getting old stuff ain’t fun.Any thoughts?🙈

Go and get a pedicure, very relaxing and stress free while someone else has to worry about what angle grinder disk to use on your big toe!
For £20 its money well spent.

You can get toenail cutters with long handles which saves bending as much.

Apart from the unfortunate physical manifestations of being north of 70, the mental blocks causing umm errr hesitation whilst searching for words, I find irritating in the extreme.
I was shooting a video recently and completely 'dried' as l searched for the word "orchard". Would it come from the bowels of my memory?
Would it blox. 😬

It's good to know that we all have the same problems and there is nothing really to worry about.
Maybe when you go into the kitchen and wondering what am I doing in here your body wants something that your mind is not aware of.
A cup of tea or a sausage roll perhaps, or maybe you just need to get up and have a short walk or something fresh to look at.
It's when you take it a step further and end up in the high street with only your pants (underpants, SC) on you should start to worry.

We're making a retirement celebratory trip for Erin Doors to Crete this weekend coming. Book a hotel online , flights via some website, then do the locator form on-line to get into Greece.... it took hours! Asking a shyte load of irrelevant questions, forcing me to "sign in" with a password, telling me my postcode was in an unrecognised format, insisting on American spelling and, the final insult, forcing me to "download the app" in order to get a QR and thus comply with entry restrictions. I know they're going to charge me "stay-over" tax and we'll have to pay for something called an "exit visa".
I have the mental energy and physical strength to travel but this bullshyte will soon see me decide never to travel again. Is it an age thing or has the world gone barkin'?
