Great performance and result. The team's showing a massive improvement under JE. Away wins like this and Fylde would have been unthinkable in September/October. Not safe yet but, surely we will be soon.
Massive respect and admiration for the 243 who made the trip. I'll bet that the players, JE and Ross were proud and thankful that you all made the effort. Well done.

Didn't like Bignot after the way he acted in our home game. Chester were damn lucky that night & were helped by an incompetent arse of a referee. These were his comments after last night. Would anyone who was there agree ?

Some thoughts from Chester fans who were there last night: They were one of the best teams down here this season in my opinion, slick and made us work hard off the ball and it showed in the second half and particularly after they went ahead as we got tired. Reckon they’ll end up well inside the top half come the end of the season. ** No complaints from me Orient deservedly won. ** The effort from our players was there, just a lack of quality on and off the ball compared to a superior Orient outfit. ** At the end of the day, we've got half our squad on expenses, whilst Orient have quality in abundance and now a manager playing them like a promotion chasing side. ** Couldn’t fault the lads for effort, we were just beaten by a better and well drilled team. I don’t recall their keeper having to do anything! ** Orient’s defence was excellent (esp their number 2) and giving them time to get back and get organised was never going to help us. ** One of those games where you just have to hold your hands up and accept we were beaten by the better side. They were quicker to the ball, competed just that little bit harder and possessed a fair amount of pace which they used to great effect especially on their right. Once Edinburgh really stamps his mark on that team and coupled with their resources, I predict they will go up next year. ** Leyton Orient were a completely superior team to the one we played at the back end of last year. deva-chat.com/thread/2234/match-day-thread-leyton-orient?page=3

Really highlights the progress we’ve made under JE.

High praise, indeed - coming as it does from fans who've just seen their team beaten at home.
The final quote, speaks volumes, I think, "Leyton Orient were a completely superior team to the one we played at the back end of last year."
Cheers, eastkento
