Being a fisherman I've always had an interest in worms, I used to go to great lengths to get enough from the garden for fishing.
Being sort of artificial with all the sand and whathaveya I've often wondered if there were worms in the pitch.
I would of thought they'd be good for aeration.

The worm-castes just leave a squelchy mess till it all dries up in June,if we are lucky.Golf clubs etc are allowed to use something on the greens that keep the worms at bay. There is an amateur gardeners one,but it does not work. One used to be able to use what the pro's used but the EU stopped it.

I used to fish all over the place, Ron. Do you remember the cartoon fisherman in Anglers Mail, we used to go wherever he'd been in the last issue.
Lea, Thames, Royalty (Hampshire Avon), Canals, Lakes, Stour (Throop) Wye (wales) Cam (Cambridge), Wensum (Norfolk) Ouse, etc, we really got around.
Used to regularly go sea fishing on a boat from Southend, sometimes Newhaven in Sussex (waves a bit rough there). Done a bit of fly fishing as-well.
Ever since a kid I've been most years for a weeks holiday (Mainly boats, sometimes houseboat) on the Norfolk Broads. Cheap holiday if a few of you go. You pay for the boat not the person.
All I've done for the last 10 or so years is the holiday.
On the Thames I remember Benson, Clifton Hampden, Wallingford, River Thame. I was also in the Sundridge League with a team called the Travelling Nomads.
Tight Lines for Friday.
Did you know that John Wilson (Go Fishing) died a couple of years back?

You have your thread back. Sometimes these things happen, someone asks a question. Apologies.
I would be grateful though seeing as you're the digger/groundsman if you could answer my original question (it was not a joke) are there worms in the O's pitch or even in
Premier League pitches. Yes or No will do.

Bas, no problem at all, these things do happen. Done it myself I'm sure. I haven't actually seen any worms in the pitch but I'm sure there must be some.

Timmo , do you know if it's season ticket holders only at away games at the moment š¤š¤ I don't know is the honest answer Ron! The club are making an announcement tomorrow I think about the Salford tickets. If they say season ticket holders first then I assume that means non season ticket holders can go as well. As soon as I know I'll post something on here.
