Looking around, some wild fluctuations as you would expect.
Top 3 teams and top 3 goal scorers pretty similar. Salford, Bristol Rovers and Mansfield definitely leading the way as the betting companies see it.
But we are definitely in the chasing pack using most measures, including highest scoring teams.
Bookies think Sutton are set for a quick return to the NL

Bookies think Sutton are set for a quick return to the NL If the Bookies reckon Sutton will make a quick return to NL, IMO they need to put their Artificial pitch in storage to be rolled out if that's the case. They will not want to have a grass pitch in the NL as I think they benefitted by having one against the opposition and was a factor in getting them promoted this year.

At this moment, i find it hard to believe, the bookies rate us 4th best team in league 2, when we havent got a proven goalscorer in the club, and only around 14 experienced professionals.
Imagine what our odds will be when we have 23 seasoned pro's, and a couple of proven goalscorers

Much better teams with better signings in front of us (at the moment ).

I'd say 4th is about right My guess too. Salford Mansfield and Bristol Rovers have to be favourites, Teams like Exeter I feel have slipped a tad. Bradford will be a threat. So it’s promotion via the playoffs. Works for me. without KJ Id be saying mid table, maybe top 10.

I think with our signings we've had a very good summer compared to others. Remember looking at Salford and not being particularly impressed either.

From what I read a while back their artificial pitch also generated a good income to the club as they were hiring it out. www.thesun.co.uk/sport/14695959/sutton-chairman-bruce-elliott-efl-pitch/

Last bet I had I won at odds of 450-1.Time I took up my old saturday past time.March 2020. My experience talking with people who bet regularly is the length they go to to tell of their wins, but losses never get a mention. Me, I’m rubbish. Net loser every time. Love Vegas, set a limit (losses) and stick to it. Last of the big gamblers 😂😂😂. Same here in the U.K. when I have the odd visit to a casino. I’m not much of a gambler.

Saturdays only for a bet, unless a special race. Two £2 trixies,an outlay of £16.I had one double, the first winner was 25-1 the other was 16-1 or near that.Unfortunately no third, even a small price winner would have added a £1000 or more.Always backed the girl jockeys Hollie Doyle in particular,so it was probably Holly winning for me.Have had about 4 trixies all the time I have been betting.Won doubles hundreds of times.I do believe I was just ahead of the bookies, only by a quid or two and they paid you out in cash.I picked up the winnings a few weeks later because of a sad situation. I have not had a bet since, nor the desire to. Covid came along as well.Always done a trixie of decent price favourites and that some times paid for the next weeks bet. Never ever chased a losing streak with more money on the bet.As a matter of control I cut down the amount.I don't drink so that was my Saturday fun, place the bet then off to the Orient when at home.Saturday must be everyone's favourite day.

I try Racing accumulators for very small bets. Have kept to the same bet wager amount for several years. Very difficult to get the big one, I keep trying, but I enjoy it. I do it in memory of my Dad who although didn't do racing accumulators, but as their generation of working people did the football pools back then.

I do it in memory of my Dad who although didn't do racing accumulators, but as their generation of working people did the football pools back then. My wife’s parents always did 6-1 reverse across the card at Walthamstow dogs, regular as clockwork. My father-in-law religiously got blanks from the bookies, wrote out the slips and went to the betting shop to place the bets. Haven’t been dog racing for ages, like everybody else. When I do go, Poole is my chosen place. I study the form like I know what I’m doing then choose a name I fancy. Mug punter. But I’ll do a 6-1 reverse here and there as a tribute to them, both departed. Good night out with friends, easy parking. Food and entertainment. Generally lose, but I expect to. Between the four of us we see whose had the best (or less worse) night. gambling can be fun. But I’ve seen close to how it can wreck lives.
