Welcome to Lee Johnson, seems a good choice to continue the development of the young talent Orient have always had. Just wish some of them would stay a tad longer.

I remember Terry Parmenter, I think he came to the Os from Fulham in the 1969-70 promotion wining season season, but was not quite good enough to hold down a regular place with us. He was a Left Winger competing with Peter Brabrook. Later on he converted to left back and transferred to Gillingham FC in August 1971.

Seems to be a Gardner everywhere as well, not just in football. If you don't have a Cisse, Traore or Ndembele you ain't even a football club.

I think that this is going to be a very good appointment. We can now really concentrate on bringing through quality players ready for first team duty. His pedigree is solid and hopefully he can build a good platform with us tona mutual benefit.
