Dayton was full of gamesmanship. ===============================
The kids have got to learn so they know what to expect in men's football.

Grainger's kicking was better than Sargent's.
With a very young team in front of him Sarge had more to do than Grainger.
We hit the post a couple of times and a draw was probably unfair on Dulwich to be honest.
Grainger has definitely grown into the men's game and playing regularly must have helped him. I don't think he'd look out of place in the National League or League Two.
Dayton played behind the striker for the most part and didn't venture to the wings that often. I think the position is usually referred to as the number 10 position.
He was his usual boisterous self and was winding a few of the kids up, stamping on their toes and the like. Our number 3 slapped him round the face at one point and then at the next corner Dayton ignored the ball and went straight through him. All a bit naughty for a friendly and I didn't think it was called for.
I think the days of Dayton playing on the wing are gone now. But he's a clever player and can still find half a yard when he needs it. Not that he was ever overweight at all, but he did look quite trim and fit.
