Charlton sack manager Michael Appleton after they lose to Northampton in the 97th min. I know Mr B nephew plays for them and at the weekend the fans forum said he was their best defender and today he’s dropped! Why would you drop your best player and defender from the prior game? I just got the text from my cousin that he’s been sacked! Chris Hughton is available to take over at the Valley after being given the elbow by Ghana!😄😄 |

This could make Lennie surplus to requirements and ready for a swansong at Charlton. |

The club lacks structure which is what they are trying to put in place. |

They will be hard pressed to find another one of his calibre imo. He told the Liverpool hierarchy in November he was jacking it in at the end of the season. Reports indicate he has bought a property in Mallorca.Well he will not be lonely as there are plenty of his countryman living on the island. |

I just watched an interview he gave to his own TV channel and he sounded tired to me. However, who can you get to replace him? I certainly couldn't think of anyone at his level who could do it. It's going to be really hard to find his replacement.

Daryl McMahon is appointed manager of Hornchurch with Steve Grit as his assistant. He should do well there and Gritty is a good man to have as a sounding board etc.

Then realised this is a Prem league club even though it's Sottish He's might be angling to get residence in Jockoland as old father time is catching up and being a shrewd Tyke he knows the Scots do not pay for Residential old peoples residences. So unlike the English who subsidence the rest of the UK with our tax system, he will not have to sell his property to pay for his elderly care accomodation. |
