Too many draws, not positive enough when drawing. Should go for it and risk the defeat.
Three draws give you only 3 points, only as good as a win and 2 defeats. Would we be happy with that?
Better to be positive and maybe get 1 draw, 1 win and a defeat. 4 points.

We have won 4 games out of eleven. That's not promotion form. KJ and the team have had their honeymoon. Time now to step up.

Interesting thought about the benefit of wins and defeats vs draws when looking at points,
however you can’t look at this in isolation, draws cause both teams to suffer, not just us. Wins and losses have a bigger impact on our opponents too.
But we really do need to push on. Saturday is a big, big day. We haven’t reached the must win stage yet. But Saturday for us is a must win, four league games without a win is a big worry, especially with FGR next.

We do not seem to be able to get three home wins in a row.If we did the away draws would seem a little better.
I cannot remember when it was easy to get a win in this division,or any other division.So much effort is put into a game by both sides.With new faces we expected better results and all games except the 4-0 have been hard fought for any point.

They get up there and then immediately fall back. Seen it all before. |

Its fine having home games to come but you have to win them,just like games in hand. |

Not a pattern that’s enjoyable. We need to aim for consistency. With two home games coming up we will have then played more home than away. So a win is needed, maybe two. With FGR being one of those, the Walsall game becomes more important. If Mansfield can do a job on us so can Walsall and FGR. So a win becomes important. From 2nd to mid table in a couple of weeks is just not acceptable. We need to start winning. |

I think this thread is a bit over the top to be honest.
We are miles better than last year with some quality at this level.

2 points a game ratio should be the target.
If we can get a decent winning run together soon we will be back on track, all the teams around us will have a poor spell at some stage.
I reckon 83-84 points at the end of the season should guarantee auto promotion.
