Let’s hope we Don’t become has beans. Yes I hope we can sustain the push for Div1 without playoffs the players that have already booked their holidays to get a good deal will have to rebook, or cancel if we end up in the playoffs. |

I think we will go up for sure. Got to say, despite this blip, we should still go up. The current dilemma happened probably at the right time, start of the window. Would have been a massive issue later. So I’m thankful that if we have these problems, the timing is OK. We have the chance to bring in players quickly and get them used to our style. We will still be top 3 when the issues are resolved. We have a great squad able to cope despite the setbacks. But I have a great deal of sympathy for Happe and Ogie. Tough luck. whether we will be champions is another matter. Really impressed with Stevenage and their aggressive approach. They are really going for it. But promotion is the priority, champions the icing on the cake. No panic. |

At times on threads such as these I am minded of Samuel Taylor Coleridge and the poem The rhyme of the ancient mariner and what is said to the the mariner who killed the albatross.First they praise,then they condemn.Only it's the other way round on this thread.Share the glory then condemn those that achieved said glory.

As in many walks of life. Past successes have value but all that really counts is current achievements and progress. History is nice but it’s just that, history. Enjoyed it but it’s time to look forward.
Last seasons joy was magnificent but will count for very little if we screw up this season. The only way is onwards and upwards. Not looking backwards.

The point is red how it continues,we all love the club on our own way mickey taking is for outsiders,not our own congregation.Always worries me that the criticism aimed will cause the board to pack up and go as did the owner of Dagenham & Redbridge.
I appreciate most humour,but some I find just a bit too sarcastic.
