I've never seen our ground that far back. Was that Archibald's Great Grandad arguing with the ref?
The crowd must of been lower than the 34,345 vs West Ham in 1964.

Just seen this pop up on my YouTube account. look how many fans are in the ground, wonder what the attendance was? What corner of the ground is that? The houses don't look right. There's no up road (as shown) near any of the corner flags.

South-eastern surely, Coronation Gardens to the right and the nearest group of terraced houses are in Brisbane Road.

South-eastern surely, Coronation Gardens to the right and the nearest group of terraced houses are in Brisbane Road. So that means the up road, so to speak, is Osborne Road. It just looked a bit too close to the corner flag to me, camera angle and all that. Thanks for clearing that up. The people on the top floor on the east (far left) had a good view. Their house price must of plummeted when the East Stand arrived.

What you see on the "top left" is the backs of the houses in Osborne Road and their rear gardens, the actual roadway is out of picture further to the left.
