Whilst loving football as a sport, there is a section of the human race that are total scum. The mocking of ex player and manager Justin Edinburgh’s death from a heart attack at the age of 49, nearly 4 years ago, at Basildon Hospital was a total disgrace. Hopefully none of his family were present to witness this mindless s*** from Colchester Utd fans. Hopefully the club will personally apologise to Leyton Orient and Justin’s family.
Morally bankrupt and brain dead morons!

That's a shame about the minority. Hopefully identified and banned from games (or just given a kicking, a backhander and told to grow up like in years gone by).
I remember Colchester backing us when we had our abandoned game that ended up behind closed doors. Chanting Sack the Board and f*** the EFL with us.

I think this is shameful behaviour from these Colchester supporters.
Why did the stewards not chuck them out?

Apparently a female steward was smashed in the face doing their job. Bottles of urine were being lobbed around, seats ripped out.

We were sitting right next to them. One of the stewards said they were going to remove a fan at half time for having flares. Nothing was done. One of their own children fans had to leave crying and holding his shoulder after being hurt when they scored. The chants about Sweeney’s mum being a whore and the police failing to control those crossing the line of decency was appalling.

I remember Colchester backing us when we had our abandoned game that ended up behind closed doors. Chanting Sack the Board and f*** the EFL with us. I have often wondered how supportive of us they would have been if they had needed three points to secure a play off or automatic place and had been losing that game when our fans flooded the pitch. I think it would have got really ugly. Playing out the last few minutes behind closed doors would not have been such a leisurely affair either.

How worrying for you when you came out just to enjoy a day out and hopefully enjoy a good game. Its not a football problem but society. The breakdown of standards, respect for others, alcohol and substance abuse if that is involved contributes to individuals who are morally bankrupt. The lack of punishment as quoted in a previous borders post. Too much psycho babble from the pseudo intellectual collective that purpot to control these individuals if they have previous misdeeds on record. To me it just fills me with disgust that they are allowed to go unpunished.

(not 50k) BWA @bwa_ColUtd · Follow On behalf of all decent @colu_Official fans we have made a £50.00 donation towards the Justin Edinburgh Foundation. We hope this makes a small amends for the deplorable chants by a section of our fanbase today. Up the O’s and Up the U’s!

Justin gave us fans our club back on the pitch. He gave us our pride back. He made us smile and believe again. He will forever have a special place in this clubs history and without him we wouldn't be where we are today.

I think they should also apologise for having a soul-less stadium too.

A very good response from Charlie who is handling this with great dignity. His dad would be proud of the work he and others are doing and the way he carries himself as a man.

I've seen some Colchester fans name some of the individuals who did this. Hopefully the old bill are looking into this a bit further. I also hope Colchester do.something about the names being put online and ban them from their club.
