We should all do one just to see how wrong we were.

Every team that came up with us in the bottom 5 yet we're in the playoff spots, despite question marks over both defence and attack? I love your optimism/delusion š
Had a look at Carlisle and Northampton's signings and think they probably will go down. Mainly League 2-proven players who've only dipped their toes in the waters of League 1.
Stevenage have made some decent signings but also lost quite a few players. We saw they had issues bedding in their Jan signings, so wonder if that will work against them? I think there are enough floundering clubs in the league to pad out the relegation spots beneath them and us though.
But 7th? Would be amazing but I don't see us coming anywhere close to that.

Iām too intimidated to even make an attempt, but this is a cool idea Bas. Mungo mentioned earlier this summer that part of the fun is learning about the other teams in the league, and I have found that completely true, but I do not think I can even hazard a guess.

We topped League 1 for many weeks the season we got to the play off finals and lost to Rotherham United.Do you think that League 1 was a little easier then than it is now. I certainly do,most leagues seem to get better year by year.I suppose some of us remember league one as a good league to be in but not as difficult to win a game as it is now.Frustration has got a grip on us Leyton Orient fans as we look everywhere for a good result.

Only what I think of course but the squad we had in the Rotherham playoff final season could have held there own imo in the Championship if we'd gone up.
From just memory I don't think there were as many big name teams in L1 as there are now so perhaps we were playing on a more level playing field.
Rotherham playoff final season O's v 2023 O's ?

Agree about the excellence of the 2013/14 squad, but it was Wolves and Brentford who stopped us from getting automatic promotion, and look where they are now. Preston were in the running too I think. Not going to mention Rotherham.

Seeing that Hearn wasn't a great spender on player transfers I think we done remarkably well at that time.
Russell Slade being the catalyst to our success (if you can call it that, I would) similar to what Steve Evans is doing/done at Stevenage.
I assume Steve Evans is doing it on a low budget.
