He's starting an organisation that has a revolutionary idea on how to invest in money. There's bound to be hundreds of people that will be keen to invest in his brilliant idea

I do wonder what the circumstances behind him leaving Orient were. He did seem to get very "heavy handed" with certain supporters in the South stand, even (IIRC) banning a few from the ground for little or no reason.

He's rightly been sacked as you just can't say these sort of things in the workplace i do wonder how legal it is to bug someone's office i thought only the police could do that he does sound a bit of a wrong un though

I am actually quite shocked to read that article. Pleased he’s no longer with Orient. Maybe we moved him on because of this sort of behaviour?

Can you just record someone like that too? It'd be interesting to hear the context behind what was said. I mean if she's selling tickets what's the worst thing that she could have done for Macklin to allegedly want to put her through a window? The right steps have been taken but there has to be more to this.

You cannot film or record someone without their knowledge and agreement. There are exceptions like the police or security services but that's a whole never level.
I suspect the words legal and I can't comment cos of it are maybe at play here. He's probably taking legal advice on the potential illegal bugging and recording in his office.
Whatever it don't read to well in anyway you look at it.

As l understand it, such recordings are not admissible as evidence in a criminal prosecution but as a civil case, DM would have to sue Wimbledon for damages which l suggest would cost something significant beyond his pay scale.

Mark Devlin has been noticeably more effective as CEO.

I don’t like verbally rude people particularly in the work place where one is forced to work in their proximity.
He really should not use the words he used he is the loser now because even if he was taken out of context his reputation is damaged

I have no idea what happened, of course, but the author of the Times article is telling readers that there is a lot more to the story by including details of the biography of the clandestine recorder in the last six paragraphs.

He always seemed to come across quite well whilst he was with us. I guess someone’s public face is rarely the same as their private one.

We are fortunate that we hide behind the keyboard. But here all the members have a common purpose in wanting success for Leyton Orient. If I told you all that I was the ugliest (in looks) fan of Leyton Orient would you believe me.
