I'm really liking Brandon as a centre half. He doesn't do anything crazy, doesn't show up like a flash fancy dan. But I really like his overall game, solid, dependable and reliable. He's like that advert "does what it says on the tin"
So far in my opinion he has been a solid addition to the team and deserves to start every game. Hopefully he will get even better, he is certainly a find by the club RW, ML, SF and others who may have been involved in obtaining his signature. Well done all.

I’ve read that his contract with Swansea runs until June 2024, with an option to extend for a further 12 months. So either a chance in January for Swansea to bring him back into their set up to see if he’s improved before any contract extension, or maybe offer him to us for a fee?

Heard several people mention on Saturday that Cooper will be signed in January as a replacement for Dan Happe who is likely to be on the move. Don’t shoot the messenger!😄👍

Good young players move on and if that is the case for Dan, let’s hope it’s for a decent fee.

If his contract is running out in June, the January transfer window may be Swansea's last chance to get some money for him. They have left their options open.

Surely we can afford to keep both Happe and Cooper? The defence is starting to look like a decent unit with a decent keeper.

I believe that the theory is we try to get some money for DH in January before his contract runs out at the end of the season and he can move on elsewhere with no fee being payable.

The club has an option for a further year which Happe can't stop being enacted. You may well be correct that we might be selling him, although the reasons are not quite how you lay them out.

What I’ve said is true - in that I believe that the theory is we try and get some money before DH ‘s contract expires. I’ve not heard anything about a contract option which effectively prevents Dan leaving the club post season and certainly none of the individuals I spoke to on Saturday brought that up. If you know better , then fair enough.

Yes it's an option, it was announced at the time and Ritchie did an interview concerning his signing. The option is in the clubs favour, if they exercise it there is nothing Dan can do to stop them. I'm sure they will do it should it be likely he could leave for free when a fee is more than attainable.
Now if we get good money for him and Cooper is the replacement well I'd not complain about that move.
I'm sure Ipswich have one in their favour for Idris.

...I'm sure Ipswich have one in their favour for Idris. They do indeed. There's one side to this which complicates things. Any club who enforce their option on a player who clearly wants away, they may find the whole thing becomes a negative when the disgruntled player doesn't make the team and the club have to keep on paying him. A deal is a must in that case.
