As good a midfield as i can remember.Moncur Idris Brown Galbraith plus Pratley and Sanders who i believe will be excellent once he's fully fit.If Dan Agyei is the player we're hoping he'll be i think we could be in for a really exciting season

The only position that really concerns me is at centre forward, other than that we have a strong League One side.

Yes, I feel our midfield (our engine) is strong. However, is it our strength in defense that's allowing our midfield to shine?! I certainly feels it contributes.

Sure midfielders benefit from Richie’s experience in that area, along with Prat’s, who is a great role model. I see Agyei as part of our front 3, with him, Theo and Graham the wide players and Pigott and Ruel as the focal point. Certainly feel we are establishing ourselves now and can give anyone a good game.

Hahaha! Forgot about this.
It came up in conversation on Saturday and I think we've possibly over recruited in that area. We're very strong. But still diminutive. Maybe we now have one too many in central midfield, and that money would have been better held back for January or spent elsewhere (can't think of where at the moment).
I do think that in January we will see some players leave and our strategy will be to replace some of our squad (not just midfield) who are lacking the physical stature needed for this division. I'm not talking about changing our style and turning into a team of cloggers, just signing a few more 6 foot plus players that can also play. I'm looking at players like Cooper, Graham, etc.
That said I really like the look of Sanders, Galbraith, Sodje, and Obiero. But all are similar in size with Moncur. Who is 5'9".
Brown from what I can see is being bloodied as Pratley's long-term replacement and that is a smart move.
El-Miz is the box to box. I can't see another player we have who does similar.
A future midfield of Brown holding, El-Miz box to box, and one of or both of Sanders and Galbraith further forward excites me a lot.
But I think in January in midfield we could see Moncur move on.

Yep ,I know what you mean ,on paper it looks like a very good MF . I read somewhere that Piggot played his best football at Wombles and was ably assisted by Sanders ,who helped him get the goals he got at the time .

I'm still feeling the afterglow from the Reading game, after our stuttering early season, that result laid to rest my doubts, so can relax now, I feel we will be ok, In Richie I trust

Especially this season no one should've judged us on the first bunch of fixtures. The first 10 matches was changed to the first 20 matches this season for me. This wrong handed typing is doing me head in. Not only it hurts too much using my right hand, I can't bring my arm up high enough to reach the keyboard. I was near to opening a new bottle of vape juice and then realised I couldn't open any of them. My mate had to come over to open them up for me. plus a few pickle jars. I was staring at 3 trapped pickled onions for 3 days. I'm so glad the O's are picking up some points now, it's really the only bright light I've got at the mo. Arghh! that was an effort, time for a lay down. More codeine soon, living the life.

I hope not. I think Moncur is a key player. I partly agree. He's been inconsistent and, for 300k, perhaps disappointing. That said, I think the expectation that we were getting a Championship player has driven some harsh criticism. I think he's a fine League 1 player with much-needed experience and his presence appears good for morale. I'd be happy to keep him, but yeah, we're well stocked in midfield, and if we can make some money back for the Idris fund, I'd be pretty happy with that too. So long as Sanders is fit, him and Galbraith bedded in, and we've got a bit of a buffer above the bottom 4.

It's a week in now and it still feels like the first day most of the time. Sometimes if I'm really careful it goes into a slight ache or even disappears but if I so much as cough, then I'm yelling. On the X-Ray it shows multiple fractures all around the base of the ball joint at the top of the humerus, so no plaster cast. Going upstairs at one step 'ouch!' at a time is really difficult. So far I've made it in time. I could be one fart away from calling International Rescue. It's not just the pain but the awkwardness of doing everything wrong handed. I think you should all have go at wiping your arse with the wrong hand as a show of support. Such fun. Thanks for all of your concerns, everyone!
