Was it the Oakland Raiders who upped and went to L A despite the protests. |

Was it the Oakland Raiders who upped and went to L A despite the protests. There is a fellow football parent here that comes to the youth games decked out in Arsenal gear. Cap to shoes. He’s impossible to engage, dismissive, aggressive with the kid referees. and took an hour with the youth coach during evaluations while most took five minutes. He’s American but sports a fake English accent. I’m sure most Arsenal fans are not like that guy, but why take a chance? As for he shamelessness of American Owners, I give you the Colts, Raiders x 3, Oilers, Cardinals, Rams x2, Browns, Chargers etc. and likely the the Jags to London. My team, the Panthers, have the richest owner and the worst team, so probably them too. That’s just the in the NFL. Baseball had done it a lot more. It’s just about the money and always has been with every single American owner ever. One of the reasons I love the EFL. I know of MK Dons, but that experiment seems like a failure so there is hope. |

I’m an Orient fan and that’s the team I like.
Anyone else is pretty insignificant to me, and whilst I occasionally enjoy watching other clubs play exciting football, the closest I get to never ever liking a side would be Chelsea, not because of the club and its players, but more because of some of their horrible fans.
I’ve been pelted with coins at Stamford Bridge and by mistake ended up in a pub full of skinheads in the late 70’s/early 80’s, who got me to sign a birthday card for the leader of the National Front.
I was scared sh1tless.

My instinctive answer would be West Ham. They have a bewildering level of support among newspaper and radio sports journalists. This means that they gain an amount of airtime and column inches that they don't warrant. Their fans are the absolute dregs and to top it off they've now got a stadium that's subsidised by the taxpayer. In more recent years Chelsea have come a very close second.
