Barnsley's change strip went up in flames with the team coach.
Would have thought they could of played in their third kit.

Would have thought they could of played in their third kit. They will. Our home kit clashes with their black one for some colour blind people.

And if you're watching on a black & white TV set, Orient are the team in red.
For sc, that was a reference to something similar said on TV in the 70's, Snooker I think.

There were two classic black and white tv gaffes by commentators, one for snooker and one for football.
“For those of you watching in black and white, the pink is next to the green.” - Ted Lowe, BBC Commentator
"For those of you watching in black and white, Spurs are in the all-yellow strip." - John Motson BBC Commentator with one of his classic commentary moments
Oh for those happy days again !!

Wonderful quotes. The Colemanballs quotes were good as well. 'The bowler is Holding; the batsman's Willey'

Cn someone explain this to me please
If Barnsley are able to wear a black kit, why aren't we wearing our red kit. They dont clash, and im still mystified as to why we're wearing white?

Already explained it. Certain forms of colour blindness can't differentiate. For future reference, this is always the reason in cases where neither team wears their home kit and usually why teams wear their third kit instead of their second.

So does this mean we wont ever wear red again How come this is happening this weekend, how come its never happened before? This has only happened as Barnsley team coach caught fire on the way back from Cheltenham and their away kit went up in flames. For whatever reason they've not been able to get a replacement in time. Shouldn't happen again.

I'm sure it happened when we had a televised game and the colours would have clashed for the colour blind people. I have a vague recollection it was whilst in the National League.

How many colour blind people are there? Apparently it affects boys nearly to the power of 10 to 1 didn't know that or that 3 million people or 4.5% in this country are affected. See BBC article. www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/56429084

How come this is happening this weekend, how come its never happened before? Cos teams usually have 3 kits. As mentioned by others, Barnsley lost the one that wouldn't have clashed with ours. What's weird is that they had all their second kits on the bus that caught fire 🧐
