It’s looking more tricky than I envisioned. Take Reid out of their team and they’d be in the relegation places. In closing I hope so.

There are some worries with what is written by some posters, all valid points and I accept what you say however, I counter it with it’s a team game, people are picking out individuals when games are won as units not as individuals. When the club was promoted it was said by RW it will take him three transfer windows to get a team capable of challenging for promotion and as he’s only had one window it’s a bit harsh to be so down on matters. We will not be relegated I promise you that. I said before the season started I said 8th place and I’ve not seen 7 better teams than us yet, on our day we are as good as anyone, the issue we have is burying our chances as we should and could’ve been 3 up by halftime. Poor finishing is letting us down. We are not as bad a team as some think we are, yes 8 games is a worry and I didn’t even realise that to be honest, the football is not too bad either, but it could be better. But I’m not worried in the slightest, RW will get it right and our forward momentum will continue, give him time and he will get us challenging it may not be this year or next but he will get us there. Rome was not built in a day. Keep the faith people, we are on a journey and it will have its highs and lows, it’s bumps and kinks, but we are moving forwards. Absolutely agree that it’s a team game and with RW at the helm, he can make a group of players play above their level as a unit. Once he’s got the squad he needs for this level, I too reckon we’ll be challenging at the top end.

Thor, I said right at the start of the season “see if they want to swap Reid for sotirou or piggott”.

Stevenage are a good team ,with a manager that knows his way around these lower leagues and in Reid he has found a little gem . If he didn't have Reid Evans would find someone else .

Spot on mayland0s - Evans - like him or not- has a knack of unearthing players and getting the best out of them.

I'm not including pens here as Ruel doesn't take the pens
Reid has scored 10 outfield league goals so far this season
His outfield goals (no assists) = 15 points for Stevenage
Ruel has scored 6 outfield goals + 2 assists
His outfield goals + the 2 assists = 11 points for the O's
As far as points gained for the team, Ruel is 4 points behind Reid
Took me ages doing that
Now back to the snooker
