Anyone been to Eastville when it was the home of the gas.I went on Good Friday 1970,we lost 0-1,then went to the ramshackle Doncaster Rovers ground for the Monday which we won 0-1 which pushed us ever nearer to the Division 3 Championship.Happy days,all those miles in my 1959 light blue Morris Oxford,my favourite car of all those I have owned.
I believe it was Barry Dyson who scored that winning goal.

Only ever been there once - Nov 1974, on the way to Cardiff to visit a mate who was at university there. Absolutely dire spectacle, it finished 0-0 and the only good thing about it was that Rovers finally found the net...just after the ref had blown for time!
