Why are these called Freds? A previous poster on here howlingmad used it instead of 'thread' many moons ago. He disappeared from the scene so I started doing it and I liked it being called Fred so I carried on using it. I think it's lighthearted and a little bit funny, and in this world we need a bit of that. Also I don't know what's happened with him as he was a regular and often funny (haha) poster, so it's a bit of a homage to him. I always think of Fred Flintstone when I post it, and once after we hadn't won for a few games I changed it to Barney, but we lost, so I changed it back to Fred. If we don't start winning soon I might change it to Wilma. No not really, Fred it is and Fred it stays. Long live Fred! |

Cast it onto your telly. With my glasses on I've worked out that my 43 inch telly is actually a 55 inch. If I go for a wee without my glasses on the effect is reversed. It is cold upstairs though.  |
