Not in the least bit unhappy. Just trying to prove that Stevenage did not run out of steam last season. Also find it difficult to understand all the negative thoughts and bitterness on this forum towards Stevenage. Fail to understand the bitterness to Orient and the way they play.Your love for Stevenage and their style amazes me.Not far to go and you can see all their home games. |

What bitterness to Orient? i am a fan. I have never mentioned the way Orient play !! I have no love ( or hate) for Stevenage. Don't care at all about their style of play. What is it with you for your hate of Stevenage. If they came 1st and we got promoted via payoffs I feel that you would be devastated where as i would be delighted. Our overall form this season so far feels vaguely reminiscent of 1970-71 at the same stage. Stevenage remind me of the way Luton were at that time: they came up with us as runners-up, and seemed to adapt far more readily to the higher level. This was amply illustrated when I went to Luton see us lose four-nil in September 1970. I came away from Kenilworth Road with a feeling of grudging admiration...

If Stevenage went up this season and retained Evans then the only pleasure I would get out of it would be knowing they would get pumped every single week. Without Evans then Id wish them well!
