He says we dropped two points rather than gained one. We need to work on our set plays as they are not good enough, players need to practice more, interesting comment. Drinan is out with a hamstring, Monks was ill Galbraith has a back spasm.
He needs a forward player, I think he would go back to a 4 at the back but we’ve not got a fit winger at the club. Tellingly he says give me the tools and I’ll give you results. Totally agree with that statement, we’ve hindered ourselves by not getting a centre forward in, that’s not to slate Lester as he’s more a 10 than a 9.
i didn’t listen or watch the game, what’s your thoughts on his summary verses what you saw or heard as the match thread is at odds with his words.

It’s interesting listening to the managers After the game. During the game I thought it was a nothing game between two sides playing poorly. I get the impression most people on the Fred felt similar.
Listening to Ritchie though, he certainly sees it differently. I guess he’s right in what he says though, we were mostly in control and i never felt that Bristol looked like scoring (even when they did!). Their manager also made the comment that it was unusual for them to have the lower possession, so that’s an achievement, especially away from home.
Ritchie thinks we’re developing and are almost there, and I guess I can see where he’s coming from. But we really do need more cutting edge up front!

That cutting edge Mr B is what we solely miss, if we had that we'd be looking at top 3 no problem.

I think we are running on a threadbare squad at the moment, with injuries in key areas, so going to Rovers and limiting their chances was a good result.
Wonder what the board will be willing to spend in January to satisfy Richie.
