EFL clubs are allowed to have a maximum of five registered loan players in their squad throughout the season. We've already got the 5 allowed so some will have to go back if we want anymore. On loan: El Miz Brynn Turns Forde Cooper I would only be sending one of those back and it wouldn’t be any of the defensive or midfield players that are on loan to us.

Hmm, I wonder who that could be, haha. Defo 3 of those wont be going anywhere if we've got anything to do with it.
The player you mentioned has got a month to come up with the goods, and now Ruel's out for while this is very good timing for him.
No goals and it's goodbye I would think.
No doubt we've got some (but how much?) spending money for Jan, but other than that our options in the window seem very limited.
Get '17 goals this season' Paul McCallum back. I've just seen the Eastleigh v Reading highlights and he gets in the right places at the right time.
I think we should of signed him when Smith went as a like for like replacement.

There is absolutely zero chance of Paul McCallum being brought back here. RW has a certain “ type” of striker he likes and it doesn’t feature a 30 year old injury prone one from the non league. Myself, I expect the Kelman debate to resurface if we are to bring in anybody on a permanent basis. Failing that -as is the usual process in January - we will have to make do with loans unless we are able to shift anyone out. What a great shame it was that because of his ill health, the Harry McKirdy deal had to be shelved.😕 agree with what you say but please not Kelman, if he is the answer then we are in big trouble in my opinion.

In his interview, Richie states that we put out a very young inexperienced side, and used that as an excuse for the defeat. That could easily have been rectified by starting with Pratley, Moncur and Pigott instead, and then replacing them with younger players as the game went on.
We are clearly in a mess, the manager has lost confidence in certain players, and his tactics are not working. One shot on target against a Conference side!
We have been told several times about how good these young players are, in particular Saunders and Galbraith, but in truth neither has shown anything other than in brief cameo performances that they are up to holding down a starting place in League 1.

Maybe give them a chance, eh? How many games has Saunders had? Remember when people slated Turns after a couple of games, only for him to become essential during our run in last season?

Don’t sound best pleased does he. Hasn’t done for yonks plus ages!! That was a cackfest out there today.. Sounds like a man who is clearly starting to feel the pressure. Things have not run smoothly this season for sure and as said in another post on this thread RW has lost confidence in some players. Maybe the bigger question is have some players lost confidence in Wellens?

Didn't Jackett come out with the same excuse? I'll make you right, start with these three then changes should it not work out.

I wouldn't pin too much hope on the January window if this is anything to go by:
Unless we can move on the Moncurs of this world then barring more investment from people who already put a lot in we might have to stick with what we've got.

The first time I watched the managers reaction all season,he was not at all pleased with the teams effort that's for sure.Needs to be buck up Saturday against Derby County.Probably could not get better opposition to show what our players have or have not despite injuries. The January window is near, wonder if we have a little money to tweak us into winning ways.

Not coming on here to gloat but thought RW was distinctly ungracious in his interview. CFC’s stadium is well above non league standard. No offence but BR is hardly Wembley. Anyway, well done to those who travelled and especially the few who mucked in shovelling the snow, brilliant of them.

As said elsewhere mate , Wellens is under the cosh a bit at present so his comments have - to some degree - to be seen in that light. No doubt that the team who wanted it more got the victory yesterday so well done and good luck in the 3rd round.👍

I believe the rules are that you can only have a maximum of 5 loanees in your match day squad so , strictly speaking , we wouldn’t have to give up any of the players we currently have on loan in order to bring in another.👍

If we were do drop into bottom 4 then we would need someone else to rescue the situation. I think the players have lost confidence in themselves and richie.

Why cant our players injuries just be one or two matches. In recent times we have had so many on long term injuries.A full fit squad could do well but we have not had that luxury.Good quality players on the long term injury list leaves little in the pot of quality players to be signed.Being out of the cup has not helped with the money situation and we cannot expect our board to be more generous than they are.Their money got us into League 1,I hope lack of money does not send us back to League 2.We can help in the form of attending the home matches, most have been good to watch despite the draws and losses.

I like cooper a lot. Forde is raw. We possibly need a bit more guile.

It was good to hear RW praise Moncur again. I wonder if we had a decently experienced player or two with him then he might thrive. El Miz seems to have deteriorated. Shame so many fans are having quite a go at Richie. Youngish squad, young manager, fairly new owners. When were the Orient last higher than their position now? When we lost to Rotherham in that final? I'm confident that things are stable and we will pick up points here and there, surviving but not lighting up peoples' hearts. Let's follow the Five Year Plan.

One shot on target against a non league side is a disgrace, Wellens and the players should reimburse the travelling supporters, thats the very least they should do
