Gorn is a hostile alien race in Star Trek Lev Gorn is a Russian actor who portayed Arkady Ivanovich Zotov, the KGB's Rezident at the Soviet embassy in 'The Americans'. Both fine examples for the stadium naming Shame we cant be vicious like the Gorn in terms of scoring!

Looks like we've taken on another company which is quoted in the text which was dissolved over one year ago! www.leytonorient.com/I'm all for taking their money, but are we not doing any due diligence? I would be surprised if we hadn’t. Devlin and Travis know the score. Don’t think we have much to concern us. Taken forever to get a deal done for it to turn out bad. Still can’t work out the pronunciation even after listening to the clip, sounds like Gorgon as in the Small Soldiers film Gorgonites from Gorgon.

But get the cash in the bank Devlin. I know very little about this Gaughan outfit who are “ naming rights partners” ( whatever that entails) - but from the little I have read it appears there are a few issues around their longer term viability. Hopefully that’s just unfounded speculation.

I watched Spurs' women lose to Man Utd this evening (YouTube) the stadium was about 1/3rd full but no sign nor mention if anything sounding like Gaughan.

Just looked at our next fixture. Against Cheltenham at the ‘Completely Suzuki Stadium’! 😂
Any other ridiculous stadium names people can think of?

There s a few out there: I always loved the Cherry Red Records Stadium of Wimbledon. Rolls off the tongue. I believe Livingston play at the Tony Macaroni Arena and isn't York's Stadium now called the Kit Kat? Abroad you can't beat (off) The Young Boys Bern playing with themselves at the Wankdorf Sure there's a few other ones in UK with silly sponsors
