Top five films I will watch anytime there on TV: 1. Shawshank Redemption 2. Raising Arizona 3. A Christmas Story 4. War Games 5. Animal House
Honorable Mention for funny:Best in Show Honorable Mention for serious: A Few Good Men
I treat do like this category Redshank. These films I’ve listed are entertaining for me if the goal is just escapism, and often it is. For example, we watched War Games again last weekend. It has an interesting and simple story line, limited curse words, limited violence, and it provides the shock of seeing that the United States Air Force has placed a Reservoir Dog in charge of launching ICBMS 😉

1. Forbidden Planet 2. Time Bandits 3. Alice (Jan Švankmajer version) 4. Fantastic Planet 5. Quatermass and the Pit
So many others to choose from according to mood. Am mostly a fan of sci fi and horror. If I could add a sixth it would be 'Tales from the Crypt'.

Films I love and could watch and never get bored of. Goodfellas The Godfather Rocky 3 Shawshank Redemption The Green Mile You wrote the list for me, in no particular order! Could put any Rocky film in and throw in Back To The Future 1 2 or 3 and it's a complete list for me.

If we are throwing in extras then The Usual Suspects have to be a consideration.
