Any truth in this? The darkside are saying it, a Facebook group is saying it and apparently Kent teague has said to a few fans.
I'm not on any social media so can't access anything, what are people seeing or hearing?

Must have been after the game then, as I'm sure he was sat on the bench today (Albeit keeping a low profile in the corner)

I've seen the same as you Thor it wouldn't surprise me to be fair.Maybe RW has let it be known he's not happy maybe it's upset the dynamics of the dressing room only speculation at the moment |

Odd appointment in the first place . I know ML is a big fan and wanted him as a possible manager at one point , so maybe he made this appointment , helping him out with work and keeping him in recserve Incase RW was to leave ?
Set pieces have never been more ineffective, than in recent weeks , but there maybe no connection to Daryl’s role.

Hardly a surprise. Many supporters appeared surprised by this appointment. Given what’s happened some supporters were spot on and the DoF out of touch. More money for players hopefully. Glad this folly has finally been sorted.
We move onwards and upwards and hopefully learn from the folly of this decision.

According to the DoF during his recent Orient hour the Dof doesn't follow Social Media. So all this conjecture on the various platforms he doesnt give two Fu..!!!ks about. ML in my opinion doesn’t bother about fans and their opinions which, I feel he considers, are not worthy compared to his vast experience and knowledge. But as we have just witnessed, his appointment of DM (like Fletcher) had shown quite clearly that all too often the views of supporters is a far better judge than his. No matter how far up the hierarchy you move, there is always plenty to learn from tnose on the shop floor. His ego knows no limitations. Supporters being a no-knowledge bunch of nobodies compared to his vast wealth of knowledge. Except those of us who questioned this appointment from day 1 were right and he was wrong. QED. |

Sometimes you have some interesting things to say when you post, but you only have to look at the wide range of views on this forum to understand there is no fan consensus, just a range of opinions across the board. I just don’t get why ‘fans’ want to have a go at ML for trying to improve this club. Are we really so bored that we have to spend life undermining the character of one of the key employees of the club? Forums are interesting places and can be informative, but stuff like this drives me away. |

Sometimes you have some interesting things to say when you post, but you only have to look at the wide range of views on this forum to understand there is no fan consensus, just a range of opinions across the board. I just don’t get why ‘fans’ want to have a go at ML for trying to improve this club. Now we do have some great comments, ideas and suggestions or tactical analysis or what we would do scenarios and all have valid points I'm sure. But to suggest anyone of us knows better than ML is ridiculous in the extreme. Football is a very tough world get into, to survive in and even harder to be successful in. Its not easy or we'd all be doing it. Has ML got everything right? Of course not, on balance he's got more right than wrong otherwise we would not have won 2 leagues, and progressed the way we have. My own thoughts on Daryl is that the appointment was forced on RW, but if anyone listened to the podcast I posted he was approached by a few clubs to take them over Bradford being one he even named. So I'm sure ML was putting in place a contingency for if that had transpired, personally he would have got us relegated if he'd have taken over, but that's my option and it's obviously not a fact. It's quite telling from my perspective that RW was saying in the same podcast how committed he is the club, owners and fans and he's building something here. I also don't think it's a coincidence that the next week Darly is gone. Panic to replace RW is over and the contingency is no longer required and the players and staff can now concentrate on moving forwards as one once more. I could be wrong if course, but that's how I'm reading it. To be clear, ML still has credit in the bank, he loves the club, has brought it success or at least played a part in that, he's setting the structure up for a higher level and as we know the owners speak very highly of him. Don't forget he had nothing to work with when he arrived and has delivered under anyone's metric. |
