Too slow and too much backwards.
We need to move the ball quickly. Brown is having a lot of space down the right. Let's get the ball quickly to him and cross the ball, not pass it back into central midfield.

It's small, proper non league ground. Brynn has put 4 or 5 straight to the keeper or off for a goal kick.
Anyway as my old headmaster would say "must do better". We've forgotten how to move the ball around for the most part, too slow in moving it and way too many long balls for my liking.
Cheltenham are crap, really bad. Long balls behind the full backs is the only option they seem to have.
If we get it together and I hope they are being told, ball on the floor, move it at pace, find the gaps and get some shots off cos I don't think we tested the keeper at all in that half.

My brother’s at the game and virtually saying the same …Also we’re making passes just for the sake of it and not making much of pushing the ball forward. |

I don't care how we win, I just want the three points. Cheltenham simply don't look a threat, not from that first half anyway. With a man advantage (something tells me it will level up in the second half) and their nonexistent threat, we must be putting them to the sword.
