I’m just relieved I’m not a Cheltenham fan tonight. The most undeserving win but the score gives us 3 points. I stand with that’s as bad as I’ve seen us for a very long time.
Very curious to see if Ritchie sugarcoats it or is honest that we were terrible.

Horrible performance but excellent result which is the main thing I guess. Word of praise for Joe Pigott who looked so much better in his preferred role after coming on. Pratley and El Mizouni both badly off song. Despite the win I wonder how satisfied Wellens will actually be overall? A few reservations I would think.

I spent far too long being a passionate and fervent supporter until Norman Stanley Fletcher's words finally shone the light on my futile optimism. I loved the promotion years in the NL and in Div 2, even the nearly year under Russ Slade but I've had enough football disappointment for one lifetime. I let the yoof do it now. |

Well that was a very poor performance, arguably the worst of the season. The players are clearly low on confidence as no one wants to take responsibility and drive the team forwards. Too slow in our passing, too slow in our movement and too slow in our decision making, add in too many long balls and we have a perfectly disjointed team in action today.
Never at any point did they look like they had 10 men which is pretty embarrassing really. The fact we kept lumping it long to their number to head it away was really bad. What happened to passing the ball to feet? They didn't deserve to lose although I didn't care that they did as their keeper was proper winding us up behind the goal with his antics and quite alot of people let him know what a jolly good chap he was!!
Hopefully this win will give them a much needed confidence boost.
