I am aware there are those that think O's got burnt with Ethan Coleman. But the owner Stephen Cleeve is pulling the plug on funding the team with a statement "I am simply not able to fund all of this seasons further deficit. Could there be a rough diamond amongst the also runs that O's could polish. Simply using the Posh model of finding talent in the lower leagues.

Other clubs have many eyes, and all would seek a playing prize, Especially if that prize was free, all those clubs would sign with glee. But if said player proved a dud, The name of who signed him would be Mud.

There's gotta be a few 'Posh' scouts with Kings Lynn season tickets so we defo wouldn't have first pick there.

Isn't Coulson the U23 manager there? I'm not sure I think he is still playing in Defence.

A far cry from when the O's were desperate back in the day and the Bucket was taken round on match home games for a collection. 🪣

£30,000 back then. Would be about £300,000 today after 55+ years? We sold Paul Went for £27,000. We needed £30,000 ten years before that, selling Charlton and Groves to get it.

You underestimate tatty! £30,000 in 1967 ( when we sold Paul Went to Charlton) would be worth around £675k in terms of purchasing power nowadays! Nice picture of young Paul below taken when he was playing for England schoolboys in 1965.👍

Wen (t) men were men. Love these old photos.
Remember the sand on the pitch at Brisbane Road in the early 1960's when if a player stopped running he sunk up to his ankles. Such fun
