I think we are halfway to safety after 21 games.
7 wins , 4 draws and 14 defeats should do it. Probably a litlle less.

Stats time. Fifty points usually means safety but unfortunately it's far from rare for teams to go down from League One with that number or more on the board. In 40% of seasons since 1981/82 (when 3 points for a win came in) at least one team has been relegated with 50 points plus, and on five occasions there have been two teams in that situation.
54 is the record (Southend in 1989- we replaced them!)

Oh for those three points against Lincoln ...
Just 46 points was enough for safety last year, but then the points totals at the top end of the table were correspondingly high, which won't be the case this year.

Last time Orient were relegated from league 1 (1962/63) was with only 21 points.
