I've never been convinced over these past 55 years that WF council have shown any love for the club. But now without dog stadiums, Essex CCC and various music venues demolished or helped turn into supermarkets we are all that is left in the borough. Nothing left to attract the public here. A one horse borough.

What have WF ever done for us? let alone the Romans.
The Romans occupied Walthamstow and ignorded Brisbane Road but I guess they never had much of a team.

What's the space like at the old Leyton Wingate stadium on Lea Bridge Road? It's still there and looking sad.

I think we've got two options locally, one is the fruit market which correct me if I'm wrong is moving and the second is the hockey stadium. Both seem feasible to our current location, time and cost I'm sure will be key to either option.

"Anyway, I just wanted to be the first person to write Taylor Swift and Leyton Orient in the same article."
This could start a trend!

Think the fruit market has been ruled out because the indication is planning will be given for housing, so value of the land is currently out of our reach.

That land is owned by the City of London not WF, may be the difference.

I went to Smithfield’s this morning got there approx 1am to buy all my meat for Christmas. I got talking to a trader about their location which is owned by the city of London and I said it’s a liberty that you’re being forced to moved in 2028 and he said yeah it is and the new site is only just being cleared. I said why are we getting rid of tradition and history so easily? Well we can all guess can’t we? Prime land, prime prices indeed. Still got some great meat, and let’s enjoy what is there till it’s no more.
