I've just watched an absolute defensive masterclass from West Ham. Arsenal had 74% possession and 30 shots on goal with 8 on target verses 6 and 3 on target. Moyes had his team so well drilled from the off, not to concede space, keeping it tight and staying together until the end. The last 10 mins they literally had everyone behind the ball. It wasn't negative, it's was superb to watch and see.
They were saying go on then, break us down and try as Arsenal might, they couldn't. The mindset was excellent, their mentality to stop Arsenal was so strong if they can just find a consistency then they could go further.
I really enjoyed that game.
I'm sure Arteta is gonna moan about the first goal, if they don't have the camera angle it's their own fault, it's their bloody ground!
