I remember in the 70's and 80's the North stand was the away section. So do I however thanks to the hooligan element the Police changed all that. Why do the Police and Club officials always tell us that hooligans aren’t real supporters of the game? I’m a life long Orient fan and used to go to as many games as possible in the 70s and 80s. Just because I used to like attacking away fans on the tube on the way to Leyton and then hurl bottles and seats at them in the away end didn’t mean I didn’t enjoy the beautiful game as much as anyone else.

Away fans behind the goal never looks right to me. They good where they are off to the side where they can only give verbal to our right back one half and left winger the next. Ajax have the right idea where away fans are up 3 tiers high in the corner surrounded by netting I was there supporting Ireland against the Dutch last year

Since 1974, East, North, South and West have all accommodated away support. I have been on South with Stoke and Arsenal fans, North with Brighton fans, East lower with Scunthorpe fans and West with Sheffield United supporters. FWIW I like it in the east stand as it is the liveliest part of the ground.

Orient need to, as a matter of priority, introduce a higher tier of seating to allow brentwoodo and his fellow ultras to rip up and throw seats and other matter on to the away fans below. It's the only way forward

Seems over the years wherever we put the away fans some will make trouble Man utd smashed up our humble abode And Leicester fans invaded from the north terrace, swung on the crossbar and broke it,in a copycat of the Scottish fans at wembley If the brummies smash our new east stand work, bill them plus compo!!

Used to work with a lad from Wolverhampton he was fond of pigs cheeks and over egging his Wolverhampton accent,Great lad to work with very intelligent and a personality that most would love to have.
