Just remembered. What a fantastic clearing header by Happe for Cambridge. Yes, I did type that as intended.
Just a couple of minutes into the second half, we had a corner that went far post. Happe leaps high and from four yards out, heads it up the pitch 😧🤨😆
I can only put it down to him thinking he was still defending that goal as the second half had just kicked off.

The perfect opportunity to raise a point I've been thinking about for a while...
Is there any point sending Happe up for set pieces? He hasn't scored in about 3 years. I'm sure we've conceded more goals from our own corners/free kicks than he's contributed to us scoring.
I reckon it makes much more sense to have him stay deeper to break up counters and whip cleared balls back into box. You know, things he's actually good at.

I ain't going for simple reason it's a nailed on dead cert home win, plus got man flu, I will juggle the reason for non attendance at final whistle and result Just shows you how wrong you can be! I'm pleased so much. I just had this thing in my head that they were gonna muller us, so thought up a couple of excuses that I could trot out depending on result. The real reason for my no show, neither of my sons could get to game, I need them for support in trying to go up a flight of steps which I can't do unless there's a hand rail. my season ticket is in the south stand which has no hand rail, they help me. I'm not aware if Cambridge stands have hand rails, so if I'm on my own can't go |
