Cheer up Bingo. Ten points in five games. Three clean sheets. Pity Bingo’s sheets arent as clean. I really cant get my head around ‘fans’ hating on a young home grown player. Your reading is has bad as your pooing habits, I have never said I hate him, just do not rate him.

Why not start a sentence (notice sentence) with and,it has been used at the start of a sentence for a thousand years.

I got picked up on my ‘bad grammar’ by Bingo…… ‘Despite what some supposed grammar gatekeepers might tell you, the answer is yes! In fact, most style guides encourage starting a sentence with a coordinating conjunction if you are trying to make a point or using it for stylistic emphasis.’ Im happy to have mine as ‘stylistic emphasis’. Ciao.

Sorry to have to say this, but a noun in its plural form does not require an apostrophe. Incidentally, what is a "sentance"?

I chuckled, the Two Ronnies did a pismonunciation sketch. Love the Ronnie Barker sketch as I suffered a pismonunication. I do not like the cream substitute " creme fraiche " Once in a restaurant I ordered apple pie but I mistakenly said to the waitress I do not want any of that "Femfresh" on the pie. Fortunately the waitress understood and giggled but I was very embarassed.

We had a family meal in a well know pizza chain, we ordered a bottle of merlot. The waitress corrected the pronunciation at least twice insisting the t in merlot was pronounced. I tried to explain but was told with 100% certainty by her that we were all wrong it's merloT as that is how she was trained to pronounce it. In her honour at family meals we always refer to a bottle of merloT.
