Irony Moaning about wanting less moaning. ššš Hardly a full on moan! Certainly not when compared to some members of this board who need a full time domestic assistant and a commercial set of washing machines! Im a proper happy clappy, me. The power of positive thinking. OK. So now we are into grading moans into levels. Thatās an interesting concept. Maybe you could post a scale so we can all conform to your expert opinion. š |

I have a good sense of humour but donāt really find it funny when people like you try to dictate the tone of posts. Which is what you do. Controlling. people have a right to an opinion and sometimes itās not the happy clappy Stuff. So all this stop āmoaningā stuff is simply trying to control the narrative of what people say. Same with the bed-wetting stuff. Funny at the start but has worn a bit thin. Sadly you are a control freak when it comes to this forum and it would take a better man than you to control me. So we can expect this endless tit-for-tat stuff that just diminishes the value of posting. Shame. Boring, ad-infinitum. But thatās the way it is. |

.........about this board that could be improved ( hopefully) 1/ When ive made a post, I would like to be able to preview it before i send it, but I cant. Is that just me, or does everyone find the same thing 2/ When i look at this board on my mobile ( Android ), i cant immediately go to the last, most recent post. I have to go to the first post, and then work my way to the last page, and then scroll to the bottom, and finally get to the last, most recent post. Again, is that just me, or does everyone find the same thing? As there isnt an app, i use a browser .Ā it would be great if there was an app, rather than having to view the site through a browser. I'm on android and it's lists the threads in order of the last post made, so the most recent is at the top. I click the new marker next to that thread and it takes me to the next message I've not read or seen. Don't click the thread title or you have to scroll through all the messages. I don't need to search or move anything it's all in order and I've done nothing to make that happen either. At the very bottom of the page make sure you are on the mobile version rather than the desktop as it's better to use and work with. And this is interesting. The preview tab doesn't appear when I'm browsing on my phone though. I'm currently using Chrome or Firefox on my phone. I think Thor has addressed the suggestion about going to the last read post by clicking the 'New' button. That's functionality I never knew existed. So thanks for that Thor. We're limited to the functionality that ProBoards provides us with. I believe we're currently on version 5 of PHPBB and it has long been mooted on the developers forum that version 6 is imminent. How they roll out version 6 I have no idea. Whether they target popular forums first or less popular ones first I have no idea. I have a preview forum that I can use of version 6 and it looks different in its original format but doesn't feel like they've added much different to be honest. By the time I changed the colours it didn't even look much different in the end. There are however a number of plugins that I can add to this forum, mostly they are crap and pointless like adding a clock or something like that. Occasionally a good one crops up. I think the LOL button on the web version is a plugin if I remember. I think there was also a plugin to take you to the last read post by default. I'll look into that again as I'm sure I tried it before and again it was a bit crap. I'll now make another post.. |

I haven't been on to anyone in a while for funding to keep us advert free as I have increased the amount I contribute monthly to the level that it is sufficient.
We're currently hitting around 500,000-750,00 pagew views a month I believe and my contribution covers us up to a 1,000,000 so unless we reach the Championship we should be covered by my funding.

There used to be an app you could use called TapaTalk. I never bothered with it as I feel like the mobile web version is quite tidy and useful.
Only fore to worry about is that on the mobile web version I don't easily have access to admin functions. That's only on full web version and possibly the app.

Just checked the Tapatalk App thing and it still exists and looks quite popular. I can't vouch for it though.

And if you did buy some advert free usage for the forum, not only am I very grateful for your contribution, but they do not expire or go wasted at all, I'll just use them when needed. |

I think that's worked. I'm on my Samsung Phone.
Go to the image, click it and you will see the front page, it's in order of the latest threads. If you look to the left it says NEW if you click that it will take you directly to the next message you've not read.
That's what you will see. I'm guessing you have the mobile version running, if not look at the bottom of the first page and you will see mobile version or desktop depending what your on. The mobile version will look like the screen I have posted.
See what you get now. Good luck.
