Where can I find a list of our home attendances? As a small child in our ‘glory years’ in the old Division One I used to write down the attendances in my diary and they used to average out at 3,500 ish.
Interested to know why our numbers have gone up over the years.

Just a small point, l watched the extended highlights of Salford Vs Wrexham .... It was dire, we are streets ahead of both of them. Not really a fair comment fisch and I am surprised at you of all the posters on here . I’ve seen Wrexham highlights a few times and they’ve looked good . That game might have been awful due to all sorts of reasons . I wouldn’t mind having some of those Wrexham forwards at our club .

Interested to know why our numbers have gone up over the years. I've heard it speculated that a lot of attendees are coming from other (usually PL) clubs, although it gets caveated by pointing out the evidence is anecdotal. As a former fan of a PL club, I can tell you that I personally know loads of people back home who either go to watch Orient cos they can't afford to see their bigger club play or, like me, they've become entirely alienated by elite-level football. I'd go as far as saying that almost all my football-supporting mates back home fall into one of those categories. Every time I make it down to Brizzie I spot somebody I know for a fact used to support or also supports another team. Still anecdotal, but I have no doubt that this explains a significant chunk of the new fanbase. Personally, as someone who used to sometimes go to Orient a few times when I was a kid and always considered them my second team, I also felt a renewed affinity for the club during the years when it was almost lost. I feel very privileged to be able to go to games now and am sure I can't have been the only local to have felt this way. UTFO!

Interested to know why our numbers have gone up over the years. Depends on how many years you want to go back. When I started watching 14,000 or around that was the norm. Was there in the 34,345 crowd too and for few other biggies. I can remember when dipped below the 10,000 regularly. There was a time when football attendances dropped for most clubs but from memory attendances during our season in the sun were far bigger than 3,500 by some way. Just looked it up. Our Division one average was over 16,000. The highest nearly 31,000. The lowest just short of 10,000 European-football-statistics.co.uk.
