Glad they've increased the price in the north, but not enough as people still purchase phantom kids tickets. They have to stop this abuse.

Glad they've increased the price in the north, but not enough as people still purchase phantom kids tickets. They have to stop this abuse. Was £307, now £368. £72 less than south stand, but still means an adult + under 11 is £437 in north as opposed to £440 in south. Not too much difference in concessions season ticket between north and east/south, just £13. Put myself on waiting list, but suspect I won’t get a season ticket. Trouble is I never know how many people will go with me as it can range from 0 to 5, and I don’t want to be sitting on my own all the time. Game by game just works out better. (Last season’s prices here www.leytonorient.com/news/2023/march/28/season-cards-23-24-how-to-apply/)As an aside, Arsenal are phasing out senior citizens season tickets. Ok, if you already have one, but no new applications. Hopefully, Orient don’t do likewise or attendances will plummet.

Still think it's really good value.
I'm still one of the problems though. I'll buy for myself and my two kids in the North Family Stand knowing full well that my kids will barely go. But at the price point it makes sense to have a ticket and return it, than not having a ticket when you need one.
I'd love to get out the North Stand and back in the South to get away from the kids. But the way how kids are they might only make their mind up a few hours before kickoff.

Mrs dOh has said her one and only experience as a SC holder this year will be her last. In no small part to our limited use due to South West Trains and London Underground. Don't know when all that will end. So that’s me finished in the East stand. My neck will be thankful for not stretching it to see around a stantion..
Big decision for me whether to get a SC or take a chance on a game by game basis. Feeling it will be a good season. They are excellent value.

But the way how kids are they might only make their mind up a few hours before kickoff. I got a half season ticket for my nephew in the east stand a few years ago. He never turned up! Luckily it was only £3 and he got 4 free tickets which I took my father along to :-) One of the problems with North stand is you can’t buy the ticket exchange tickets unless you bring a child. I agree season tickets are very good value, but my father is unable to go anymore so I end up attending games with different people in different numbers in different stands. Not a problem but not conducive to sitting in the same spot week after week.

I found it better to buy tickets individually as a member of the One Orient scheme. The £3 discount plus the £10 games and the discount month (three for a reduced fee) made viewing very affordable this season. Compared to local National League South and National League games I thought watching the Orient was a bargain. And with the One Orient scheme you can miss some (for family arrangements and work) without the punishment that comes with a Season Ticket. Also it means that you don't have to sit in the same area each game. Admittedly the Justin Edinborough stand is sometimes booked well in advance, but I've got tickets in there, just above Richie and co, several times.

Good idea Nick, I never really considered this option. Assuming it is still operating next season I’ll take a look. Moving stand location was one reason why, for years, I avoided a season ticket. Only started the ST thing when TandT took over, rarely had an issue seeing games before that. Though now that’s a little different. Travel distances mean I miss evening games and travel disruption adds more to the missed games. I do release my tickets back to the club for resale. So an alternative to taking a chance on the day is a positive opinion. 👍

Does it count towards other things (eg. One Orient) as well?

Does it count towards other things (eg. One Orient) as well? It looks like the credit will only count for a renewal. As an aside, I would be willing to pay season ticket holders £15 direct next season Contact tickets@leytonorient.net who should clarify. www.leytonorient.com/tickets-and-memberships/ticket-exchangeIf the season card holder’s seat is resold, the season card holder will automatically receive a £15 credit towards renewal of their season card for the next season.
This credit will not be available for any other use and season card holders will only be able to view the contents of their account when season tickets are launched.

Yes, we do, although it’s not as regular as I would like. We have the effervescent Robin, so mistaken, so underrated because of this. The Blackbird was a signal of peace and calm to my younger self and I treasure the sound, even now. Im so happy when I hear it. I love the cooing of the humble Wood Pigeon just as much. We get Tawney’s in the evening here. Birds surpass almost all human music.

Another advantage of the One Orient membership is that you get to buy your tickets online a bit quicker than standard ticket buyers. This helps with positioning and lets you buy for friends and family at the same time, thus you have a good chance of sitting together in a good position. I really hope this scheme is continued. It's expensive going to games from Maidstone (most places I suspect) and the good position to watch the game from is a big bonus. I sometimes reflect on how many games less I would have gone to if the scheme did not exist.
