Good performance, first and foremost a Richie Wellens tactical masterclass against a freescoring side to tweak the formation and really nullify their attacking for most of the game. Having done that though, he's right that we just lacked sharpness in the final third, and when they got the chance they showed the clinical edge. Pratley was particularly good but was never likely to play 90 and then losing Idris so soon after that was a real blow. That said Galbraith's shot with his first touch could win it on another day. Narrow margins though and how far we've come this season. Good day out as well.

A game the O's certainly didn't deserve to lose. The playoffs have gone for sure now but in reality they were never really on. It's been a great season and there's every reason to think that the next will be better. If he can keep this squad together and have just a little bit more luck with injury I see the Os as a top six side for sure next season.
Well done to the entire squad. Let's enjoy the final six games and look forward with optimism.

Lincoln so didn't deserve to win that game. We were the superior team playing the better football. A silly goal to concede and I think the change in tactics by RW didn't work, and I really can't fathom why he changed it when we were so on top of them. Loss of concentration for their goal..Didn’t deserve that..But it’s football..UTOs |

James - first pass straight out of play with no one near him, second pass long ball to absolutely no one, third pass straight to their player. Looks like a lazy performance from him today, hope I'm wrong, but his start hasn't been good. Unfortunately they were a few lazy and over hit passes from us yesterday.. |

Looks like a lazy performance from him today, hope I'm wrong, but his start hasn't been good. Unfortunately they were a few lazy and over hit passes from us yesterday.. True which was quite unlike us and with a bit more calm on the ball and head up a bit more we would be so much better. However, some of our passing especially in the first half was superb with the oppo just chasing shadows. The future is really bright and with a few key additions we will be top 3 material next season. The key to my prediction is the incoming players, who we really have to get in the door early rather than last minute dot com which will give RW the best opportunity to hit the ground running. |
