Put him on the Boehly deal, amortised over 100 seasons.

I don’t know anticipate he currently may have one more season ? With players like Galbraith we hopefully are talking about extending his contract now, rather than leaving it to one year to go. A two year extension this summer would be a positive statement of intent. I know what you mean bill but if we sign him on a long term contract he could prove expensive if he gets a bad injury and ends up as a bit player something like Dan A might .

If we can get the more promising players like Galbraith, O’Neill and Agyei on longer contracts and they continue to improve, then it only takes one of them to move to a Championship side for £500k plus to take some of the risk out of the injury situation. We gave Moncur 3 years, so I’m sure the board is considering it for others.

I would always want to see more than one season, with young players especially. It works both ways. I remember Lloyd James being terrible in his first season but then blossoming. That said Ethan has been superb, frequently played out of position, and if money was no object I would give him ten more years rather than Pratley!

Gailbraith should only be played in a midfield role , he is not only wasted at full back but is not good enough as a defender. Sanders in my view is very ordinary and seldom fit.
