Not a forgone conclusion he has clubs in the championship that are interested, would be a very good signing if it comes off, will be keeping tabs on James Masters twitter for further news. Masters has tweeted tonight that Cox is on the verge of signing a new Three year deal in the next few days.

Could be a good signing either way He was a free agent - but I suspect for a player of his quality we have paid him and his agent a signing on fee as there were plenty of clubs interested in him, when people moan about us not spending money on transfers these are the "hidden costs" of bringing in quality players and Lowry is certainly a quality player. |

Just spoke to a Millwall fan who said he's a very good player and wishes they still had him. Apparently he's a much better CB than LB and he is prone to the odd red!
He scored a cracking goal against Charlton last season, it's worth a look on youtube
