Derby have a squad of big names for this league. I would've liked to had seen Gayle make an appearance for them. They look like a team of physically strong players in each position.
They have all to play for and we don't and it showed.
I'll give our players a standing ovation next Saturday, but just looking forward to next season now. It's going to be a very busy summer for the club. Many contracts to sign (and hoping RW is still here next season too).

Bad day at the office but the lads gave it their (almost) all against a very strong and determined Derby County. Back to Chigwell and we go again!

Just got back from the game.
It was a nothing game, very dull with both teams more or less cancelling each other out. They wanted it more than we did, they had that extra bit of effort to win the ball, to chase it down to win it back which we lacked across the field.
Our organisation from corners was poor and every corner they had they were capable of scoring from. The first goal whilst it was given as an OG against Monks the keeper is at fault, if you come you have to win it otherwise your in no man's land and they score an easy goal.
Both sides lacked any quality to create chances and neither keeper really had any saves to make. We were very flat and almost just playing out the game waiting for the beach which for some cant come quick enough.
I wasn't disappointed as I didn't think we would win today, in my own mind we would lose 2-1 but the truth is we never looked like scoring at all.
What a ground that is as well. Its premier league quality and if we ever move, something like that would be some legacy for Nigel to leave behind.
Just want to say to the 1,400 fans there. Magnificent. We didn't stop singing for 90 mins. Even making fun of ourselves along the way. Proper support. I had a mate of mine come who supports Chelsea and he said to me your fans are amazing, and everyone really was. Shame we couldn't get anything to cheer them up.

The season isn't finished yet. We still need to finish higher than Stevenage. They lost today. Northampton lost today.

Wonder if Edwards came to us with a view to us signing him at the end of the season on an O’Neill type of deal.
If so it doesn’t look like it’s worked out for us or him.

What I did not like about Derby at corners was what appeared to me was bordering on cheating
I notice they impeded and blocked Beckles who was generally standing infront of Sol trying to protect him.
They were pulling Beckles shirt too.
Generally there a chaotic scamble right in the centre of all the condensed group of players because of Derby’s tactics.
If my understanding is correct I would like to hear RW comments on Derby because it did not look like sport to me.

Went. Was a bit disappointed if Im being honest. We were just not at the races. We never had a sustained spell of pressure, just the odd little break here and there. They pressed us into constant mistakes and we created no space to play into. As has been said already, men against boys.
I thought Pratley was our MOM. Not a game for a Moncs / Pratley midfield combo.
Also, Adams was outstanding, or perhaps I was just watching him more what with his connections. Exactly the sort we need.
