Very bad start to the season and a very bad finish too.
I know they were on the beach, but since we beat Northampton, we have found it hard to score. We need more than a few in, for next season, and a few that are here, out.
Good job we had a fantastic period from mid December, and January.
Most inept performance today, than for a very long time

I found it an insult to the supporters turning up for an inept performance.

Simpson, from early impressions, looks a step above. I was watching him constantly surveying his surroundings and moving around after playing the ball off. He has good touch too.
Zach looks like he's capable even at this early stage. Next season could be a very progressing season for him.
Galbraith just oozes control. I want to see him in attacking midfield next season, not the right back position.
I'll save who I would like moved on for another day.
Today was pants to be fair.

Some people just don’t like him and always look for the negatives and can’t see the positives. He is a decent young keeper And some people can see both the positives and the negatives. He's a good shot stopper but not good enough at everything else. He routinely misses or fumbles aerial balls and his distribution is subpar. We need better than a decent young keeper if we're to progress next season. I look forward to seeing what strawman you concoct to argue against next. I can be critical at times like all of us, but also give credit where due. Much of the season he has been very good. So he has made mistakes, so did Vigs. So do all keepers at times. A young keeper who on balance has had a decent season. Been there when the defenders have made mistakes too. I’d be ok with him next season, would be ok with us signing another too.

You need to look elsewhere.

Very poor again today.
Only two questions matter. Does Richie know what needs to be done to fix it and will the board back him? It remains to be seen but I am hopeful the answer to both is 'yes'.

Decent promotion season at the end of the day, talks of playoffs were fanciful but Orient came close but for key injuries and not enough squad depth. Onward to next season. Board its over to you.
Very glad I was working today though

RW is an ok manager but unless he can solve the amount of problems that we have we will remain a mid table side . He is not the superman a lot of people think he is . Mind you I am usually a mid table man !

In case no-one noticed, I retain my 100% record of starting the "Fred" thread which resulted in defeat.

On a more serious note I'd like to praise Obiero who I thought was our best player today and is shaping up rather well in my opinion. If he keeps his head down and listens he has a really good chance of making it in the game.
I'm liking what I'm seeing. What do others think?

The next hurdle for him to overcome will be the tough transition from "promising" to "valuable". He's still young but playing a for a club like ours means you get your chance early, sometimes a bit too early.

I’d be ok with him next season, would be ok with us signing another too. Of course everyone makes mistakes. But if anyone made the same mistakes persistently all season then they would face criticism and rightly so. His misjudging of crosses has been especially poor in recent weeks but it has nevertheless been a feature of his season. There could be two readings of this: 1) To be generous, like much of the team, his performances have dropped off since we've had nothing to play for. I don't hold that against anyone after a knackering season. 2) To be critical, he is not improving in aspects of his game that he needs to in order to be anything other than an average. If anything he's getting worse. Regardless, how many times does he have to make the same mistakes before people realise that they aren't just mistakes but weaknesses in his game? I haven't been sold on him for a long time, but he was good enough for a team battling relegation. However, as with all our players, the standards have risen since the start of the season. He is not good enough for a team pushing for the playoffs. Insofar as the season he's had, I think he's been just OK. He did a job but I'd be disappointed if we didn't upgrade in summer. Just think about how underwhelming some of the praise he's received has been. You literally credited him for standing in the right place when their player nodded a free header straight at him. Mrb credited him with keeping us in the game cos he made two saves (including the aforementioned). Sorry, but our bar has to be higher than that. Occasionally making a good save is the absolute minimum any team should expect from their first choice keeper.

I believe the answer to the first question you pose is yes .Listening to the KT interview earlier this week I am less confident about the Board being in a position to provide the financial backing required. We can but hope!🤞

O’Neil for Archibald, Cooper/Simpson for Happe and Forde has done well. So not all bad news. Those filling in have done well enough. Maybe O’Neil, Cooper, Simpson will be starters next season. It’s a squad game. And our failure to add more strength in January was self-inflicted to a degree, perhaps. Injuries have been a nuisance but some have emerged from that with credit, Oberio for one.
