Absolutely right , no wonder wellens was upset at our loanees, neither were up to scratch and Edwards was not even marshes level. Arsenal must see something in him - he's been with them since he was 5 years old!

If Arsenal expected him to toughen up and show his worthiness, they must be very disappointed.

Our last transfer window was a shambles, The aim was to improve the squad not weaken it, as he did, No wonder RW was a tad annoyed, could you imagine a higher league club putting up with what happened here. Out: Drinan, Thompson, Turns In: Cooper, Simpson, O'Neill, Edwards, Adu-Adjei OK, the two loanees haven't worked out, but that's still three backups replaced with three players good enough for a first 11. And that's with no transfer budget left over from summer.

My wish,El- miz to sign along with Ruel, Theo which would mean he is over his injury. The Jury is still out on Dan Happe, and to have a fully fit squad with a striker raring to go from the start.I also liked the look of Simpson who can spot a pass and deliver one. What is it about Dan happe that makes you think the jury is still out? His injury record maybe? I think he’s been one of our top performers the last two seasons, until he was injured anyway.

Never had a full season when on his best form.Nursed him through many injuries so would like a fit and willing Dan.That is the reserved judgement.Would like Dan for another two years ,we had his worst now we want the benefit of his best.

Happe seems really unlucky. He has been injured in January/ February in the last three seasons and each time effectively out of serious involvement for the rest of the season. It's a medical judgement that's needed. He is easily a League One quality defender.
I hope he's fine and has a change of luck.
Ten More Years, Ten More Years, Danny Happe.

So all that work to get back to square one, no improvement and not what RW asked for, I say again would any other League 1 club or higher accept that, everyone in the club knew what was required, Ling is out of his depth

I will put my faith in Ling and his trusty coffee pot His track record as a DOF is only a league 2 level, He hasn't shown he has what it takes to get us the players needed for higher levels. Our last transfer window was a shambles, The aim was to improve the squad not weaken it, as he did, No wonder RW was a tad annoyed, could you imagine a higher league club putting up with what happened here. Utter rubbish.

I'll simplify it for ya: 2 CBs who aren't good enough replaced by 2 CBs who are. 1 attacker who isn't good enough replaced by 1 who is. Richie didn't get the 9 he wanted but he got Cooper signed on a perm and a new winger. He's quoted as wanting both. The squad was strengthened in Jan.

I heard from many that Dan happe is on his way to millwall. Re our centre half I also heard beckles will go. I don’t know the strength of these rumours but if they are accurate then I wouldn’t fancy Simpson and cooper as our pairing. I know wellens likes ball playing centre halves and Simpson fits that bill but neither are tall dominant powerful centre halves like Pellegiani of Stevenage.I quite like either but not as a pairing.

Turns not a good CH? think Brighton wouldn't agree with you there He struggled with the step up and Richie would've played him more if he thought he was good enough. Got recalled and loaned to another league 2 club. Will he be good enough? Maybe. Is he currently? No.

Simpson is taller than Beckles fwiw, although together they're a downgrade height wise. We'd definitely need to bring in another CB anyway if Omar and Dan go.

Redshank, I am not speculating, I don’t think any of my wish list will come, just stating who I would like. I couldn’t help but be impressed with fleetwoods number 4 who was head and shoulders the best player on show. He was good osolest but you saw him against a very inept Orient performance\team..just a thought

No. He struggled when first came to us Stevenage slaughtered him at their place, hopelessly lost all game. Took him 4 or 5 games to make some headway, he gradually held his own and started scoring, Think RW should've have cut him a little more slack, he would stepped up to the mark

If anything you have to give him credit. Turns was recalled on the last day of the window and Ling was still able to replace him. Not only that, but with a better player (imo) on a free.

So in your book we held our own on the defence front. Personally I think Turns could be better than Cooper, but would cost us a wedge. If as a DOF trying to Steal/Snatch a forward from a rival, I would be on the blower to that club each day, or better still swap targets and go for the oven ready fully basted one ready to pick his boots and travel

And swap targets? How many reliable and available number 9s do you think we can afford? And yes, I think Cooper is better than Turns. It's besides the point anyway, because losing Turns is on Richie, not Ling.
