First time I’d seen Obiero play. I was impressed. Calm on the ball, makes good decisions, those are hard things to teach. Faded in the 2nd half, but he’s only young. Could be a very good player in a few years.

I was there yesterday and all our goals were superb…but I’ve just watched the highlights and Aygei’s goal was so much better than I thought.What a pass from From Gailbraith,then the run and finish by Aygei..Fantastic!

Richie's not here and we suddenly look like we can attack. Ritchie was there! He was watching from the stands. and he was still passing instructions from the stands. He gave them to PT who gave them to MH who gave them to Hunt ( I think) when he came on. The notes were on paper. |

Walking out of the ground yesterday I was mingled with the Shrews fans and they were really impressed by us. In particularly the third goal of ours which they were raving about. I wasn't talking to them but just listening in.
Some quotes of choice:
Cut us to ribbons
Didn't look like they were out of 2nd gear
The passing and movement for this level was refreshing to see
Should have had at least 5
Took their foot off the gas
If only we had a style of play like that
I didn't have the heart to mention that it was a patched up team with arguably our best players missing and our manager gone walkabout.

Think I saw you yesterday. I was coming out of a pub / bar at Shrewsbury station and you gave me a double take. To be fair I came out the door as bold as brass and a bit lively 🤣 Either that or something or someone else caught your eye in the pub. There were loads of Orient in there. The Tap and Can or Can and Tap. Something like that. |
