Good job. I can imagine RW hanging around a departures lounge at LHR, seemingly talking to himself and his fellow travellers looking on and rolling their eyes at him.

So Richie admits Pigott doesn't fit his style and in effect is saying he's available. Lets hope he finds a new home, or else we've got an unhappy player in the squad who doesn't feel wanted.

Pigott would have known for weeks that he did not have a future at the club. He was behind the two young loanees and didnt get on the pitch but they did.

I enjoyed the show as I always do. It is interesting that RW signed the contract the day before the baseless claims that he was leaving emerged. I wonder why the club waited for a few days to make the formal announcement? They had to have a few laughs watching the trolls at work and the other team’s fan reactions. I’m sure it was done for business reasons of course, but still that had to be a perk.

From that interview Idris is unlikely to be at the O’s next season.

In fairness, I think Wellens merely said what has been apparent to him, the fans and I suspect Pigott himself, for the last couple of months, to wit that the move hasn’t worked out as everyone had hoped and a change has to be considered. There was no direct criticism of JP himself - he’s a decent enough player - but simply doesn’t fit the style of play the team employ. I’m sure we all hope the situation resolves itself to the mutual benefit of all parties over course of the summer.👍

I like Richie's honesty and that gives him integrity. We've all known that Pigott was a panic buy at the start of the season and just doesn't suit the style. Joe would have known this too. But as Richie said it doesn't make him a bad player, not at all. Just not suited to us in the slightest. I wish Joe all the best whatever happens.

I just hope we can ship him out, otherwise he is taking up a wage for a player that suits the style we play.

Couldn't Pigott have adapted to RW's style of play, after all, he is a professional footballer

Couldn't Pigott have adapted to RW's style of play, after all, he is a professional footballer Don’t think he’s mobile enough.. watching the type of goals we scored during the last quarter, it seems most of them were scored at pace and set up by attacks on the deck from just outside the box. Not really Joe's forte istm.
