My reason for the initial post is that we need to know ASAP whether we can go for another particular player hence a deadline set Must be frustrating for those that are dealing with players they want to sign for another two or three years.The players obviously have to think of their future and what offers come along.Has anyone picked any information if there are envious eyes on our yet to sign a contract players. |

I was looking earlier on Idris and not a word is being said anywhere at present.
As far as our players a concerned it's either a negotiation of better terms etc or a bit of brinkmanship v pite tial alternatives to use in their favour IF they want to stay to extract the maximum out of the club.
I'm sure things will sort themselves out in time. Another month of pay (June) plus one more (Jul) if they don't sign

Some will move to follow the manager, some for more money others for how it connects with a job and working around that. Its probably moved on now as more are becoming professional, and the contracts more in depth. But the comparison between a football league player and non league is massive. |
