I thought he had a tough season last year so slightly surprised he was offered, but Richie knows his business.

In last seasons final game James produced that sublime long pass to Galbraith that took out the whole of Shrewsbury for Ethan to score
More next season bodes well.

I've always liked him, although I must confess, I liked him more when he was scoring worldies! I rate TJ highly . I think it’s fair to say though he has never quite reproduced the form he showed when Jackett was in charge and he played as a wing back . Still very happy to have him at the club however!👍 |

I think sometimes we expect too much of TJ, expecting something special whenever he is on the ball.
He was solid if unspectacular last season and provided two of the best defence splitting passes that led to goals I can remember.
The squad is better with him in it, so if he’s signed, then great.

Pleased with this James is a very good player great passer of the ball excellent vision sometimes a little bit too casual but if he can score a few scorchers this season and he's due a couple then I'll be well Pleased

Its bloody awful.Tom James will be thinking 24/7 about his loss,its natural he seemed in a different world at times.

Just what Richie wants someone who can get up the pitch and create, trust me this is bigger news than we are making out. He just needs to work on his consistency, as sometimes he's influential and other games he disappears.

I forgot that he lost a parent this year. That is extremely tough.
His partner also had a baby this year. We all forget how tough that is too. Especially your first one when it is all new to you.
TJ has had an emotionally hard year.
