Looks like it's game over for us when it comes to Idris as it looks like he's about to sign for Oxford. We better have a fantastic Plan B lined up as looking at available options we are going to be instantly weaker. www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/47398

Hardly a surprise he is aiming higher than us. Would have been a massive surprise had we got him.
But we will strengthen a team that, in my opinion, remains a lot weaker than the one we had at the end of the season. And at a time when many other are getting stronger. So we will strengthen, we must. If not it’s going to be an even tougher season.

Our signings so far look very much like Wellen signings, so it's time for our transfer committee to step up and prove themselves, after all we have a Head Scout and Director Of Football for a reason.

We scout very well, look what players they have bought to ,a few misses true, but every team has their signing failures. Our hope is that they do not cost a payment fee.

Maybe Richie is fed up of waiting and pushing his own agenda. Someone needs to push things along. This window we’ve managed to lose two experienced players.

Thats straw-clutching. It’s about the squad. And that is definitely weaker than the one we finished with. But with 4/6 players to come in, a testament of our gaps, that may be addressed,

Best deal we could do right now is trying to tie Galbraith down on a longer term deal (obviously with a decent release clause).

Oxford will have a choice midfield if they get iris. They've just got Sibley also for nothing.he is impressive. Best bet for us seems Dobson for free and indeed make sure Galbraith has at least two more years with us.a potential one million player if left to play in midfield

I don't think Idris will walk into any championship team.Imo at the moment he's a very good league one player He's excellent at breaking play up but doesn't score any goals and that's important . He'll be a squad player championship level at best

We were never going to get Idris again, it was obvious.
We should be grateful we had him for 2 seasons

Loan for a year possibly two years,we only with rare exceptions sign players for longer than two years.Football teams change all the time, rarely get a long term signing only those that come through the youth system.
