Right time to go imo, but whoever comes in, I’m not expecting immediate success.
It just doesn’t work that way.

He has recognised that he’s run out of road and done the honourable thing and jumped before being pushed. Works out well for all parties I suspect, Southgate can move on pick up his knighthood and write his book and do the rounds of TV talk shows before becoming a pundit whilst the bureaucrats in the FA can breathe a sigh of relief having not had to take any action.

I'd bend over backwards to try to get Klopp but doubt very much that he'd want to tarnish his reputation on this bunch of England players

Without being offensive no foreign managers please including Welsh, Scots or Irish.. Foreign managers have been tried by many countries for their mens football teams and they never work. Strange how its different in the women's game. There is only one decent English manager in the Premier League and that is Eddie Howe, so unless they give it to Sarina Weigman then Howe should get the gig !

Sarina Weigman did amazingly well when she guided England ladies to that Euro triumph but as of late her early successes have now started to decline. Failed to qualify for the Olympics and still in the balance as to if England Ladies qualify for the Euro's. Unlike Sven-Göran Eriksson and Fabio Capello, Jurgen Klopp has managed to be a very successful manager of an English club. Also apart from a couple, the many English managers have also not achieved anything very much when appointed as Manager of the England football team.

Graham Potter who is a yes man will be the full time appointment. What a strange comment ! not really. He won't rock the boat, he will be a decent front man for the organisation, he won't cause rows, he will be a good man. A yes man.

I'd bend over backwards to try to get Klopp but doubt very much that he'd want to tarnish his reputation on this bunch of England players Jurgen l bet will not leave his Mansion on Mallorca, surrounded by his fellow Germans. The last time I was there it appeared the Island was well populated with them. There is even a place called Bosch.

I think he’s always going to go when England lost He can always go back to selling Pizzas on TV. He and the Crisp salesman Linnaker make a good win double.
